I installed mine a year ago and the whole thing with tools and parts was about $1,900. I filled out the 5695 form and got $600 back on my taxes. $1,300 for this water heater with everything is great especially since I have a family of 6.
Making great progress on the ole Champ! Looking good, hopefully I'll get back to mine soon. 🙂
that sure was a lot of work but looks great Lloyd are you planning on keeping the champ when it’s done
I will definitely keep it for several years. Just not many of the trucks around here anymore. Thanks Jeff and enjoy your weekend
Oh man that looks yummy I haven’t had spam on the grill in a long time thanks for making me hungry Lloyd 🤷♂️
Cooking Spam on the grill really adds to it. I may cook some this weekend. Thanks and have a great weekend Jeff
Nice work Lloyd! It's kinda fun making patterns and fixing rusted out spots. It sure makes you proud when you're done and see solid floors and kick panels, and you did it all on your own.
Thanks Ken, I agree, that floor was rough but with a little time and patience's it's looking good. Have a great weekend
casting metal sounds so interesting
Thanks Dan, it takes a lot of time. But very rewarding when you get a good part.
what a great project, coming along nicely, take care
Thanks Dan, I have been happy with everything so far. Just takes time to get it all done. Have a great weekend
Hello. This car has a lot of holes in the driver's floor, firewall, and around the door hinges. You replaced the panels, made a patch panel using a paper template, and welded the patch panel. You repaired the door, and all that went very well! Great results. Your work was hard. There's still hard work to come. Around the bed, figuring out where to mount the tank, etc. . . I'm looking forward to seeing this car come back to life with this project. :) Thanks for showing me. Thanks my friend.
Thank you so much my friend. It just takes time and patience's when replacing the rusted metal. Wishing the best this summer riding your motorcycle to more locations.
You are channeling your inner Fitzee. That will be a real sweet truck when you're all done.
I need to stay focused on the truck. The longer it take me the more ideas and changes may happen...lol, Thanks Matt
that looks great, I never had patience or the talent to do something like that. Another guy I watch that is an ace on body work is Steveo J ,www.youtube.com/@stevoj8959
Thanks Vernon, I will be sure to watch the video. Take care and watch out for this summer heat
Wow, you did make a lot of progress. Looking good.
The farther I went the more I found but things are looking good now. Thanks Terry and take care
Great job Lloyd, that is really good looking, I can imagine the efforts going in to do that
Thanks Jan , i feel much better about the cab and floor with the progress made. Take care and have a great week
That's a lot of work for sure. Bit at a time for the win 👍
Thanks Steve, yep kept me busy for a while but time well spent. Take care and have a great week
Good feeling knowing that rusty stuff is out of there and replaced with fresh steel. You have made significant progress Lloyd. Nice work indeed. :)
I was a little concerned at first but it all came together and looks pretty good . Thanks Doug and take care
Really nice work Lloyd, the Champ is coming along nicely buddy, 😎👍
Thanks Tom, when I finally got started I was in the zone. Have a great weekend
Using replacement panels isn't cheating Lloyd...I enjoyed welding the floors on that Holden I'm working on...She's nearly done now....Good stuff mate...Cheers.
Thanks Zig, those panels sure make the job easier. Getting the 4x8 sheet is working great for the other repairs. Have a great weekend
Coming along nicely! Going from swiss cheese to white American. Being in Texas a little extra ventilation is ok as long as ya don't see the road from the inside! 🤣🤣
Thanks Robert, I like working on messy jobs like this outside and a good fan can really make a difference in the heat. Have a great weekend
Good stuff!
Finally making some progress on the Champ. Have a great weekend
Looks great Bud!! You're giving me flashbacks of the Ol' F100!! One bite at a time, you'll get it!!☻
I thought about you several times as the job progressed. W.W.RK.D🛠️😁👍 Have a great weekend
Wow you're steaming ahead with that panel repair. What shape is the "glovebox" in...rusty?
Oh yes, Rusty for sure…lol. Thanks my friend and have a great weekend
Good job brother Lloyd God bless you
Thank you Marlon, it was good to be making some progress on the Champ pickup. Have a blessed weekend
I was wondering when you was going to start working on the Studebaker thank you
I didn’t talk about it but I was getting over a knee replacement. It been a while now so fingers crossed I can stay after it and make some progress now. Thanks and have a great weekend
that was cool i had many tools back in iowa i had no idea what they were for, take care
that is so amazing, great video
Good video. I had a 0.60 289 Reed Cam in my Mustang. Went to a two long row Cold Case aluminum radiator Seal 301020049 electric fan. Worked great till the electric fan did not work in Florida heat. The first comment when I post is why did you not look at your temp gauge? Easy answer, terrible rude Florida drivers who cut you off, break at the last minute and have zero respect for other drivers while getting nowhere faster. You so far have the best video. And the only one talking about fan depth. This is the first major issue I have had with this engine since 1998.
my wife loves your cooking videos, take care
Woow I got to say that your tractor is looking pretty nice and as for I have the Same tractor mines the same case IH 254 tractor mines a 4wd an I had the starter replaced and the key ignition switch replaced and I'm working 😞 n getting the radiator replaced along with a leaking hydraulic bottom pressure line otherwise these old case IH tractor's are really interesting machines to keep for Small around the house work job's.
seems to have much better sound than my gopro
Thanks, I have been happy with the camera
camera seems real nice, never heard of that brand
So far so good, 🤞Thanks
a trail cam is a great idea
It's interesting to see what is coming to water,
the wheelbarrow worked great
A good wheelbarrow is very useful around the place
wow that is very hot, nice of you to help the native animals we always keep bowls out our animals
It had gotten really hot and I know the animals appreciate it.
that is so nice, there is not much better than fresh potatoes, we have the long beans too they usually grow about 18 inches
I have been disappointed in these long beans. They are supposed to be stringless but not so.
Is the brake pod pull the center rod down to hold pressure on the will?
Wheel
Yes , the center rod moves down to hold the wheel tight while removing the tire. I have an air pressure regulator to limit the force on the wheel
@@RustyGlovebox hey thank you! I literally have the same one lol
In my county a temporary shelter after six months becomes a structure if it is 150 sq. feet or bigger. So I bought of one these and I figured if I ever need a street address I'll flip that restriction around on the guvmint - pull a garage permit and throw this up. I get a street address for mail. And the county gets their technical structure!! Then I can just fortify it - someone replaced the flimsy tarp with metal panels. You can just buy more EMT conduit. On the other hand I might not want a street address - in which case I would have to move this every six months to not require a permit. hahahaha. You can't really move a garage - so maybe just move it a foot back and forth every six months!
It is a nice temporary storage solution but has its drawbacks at times as you have brought up. Thanks
❤🎉❤🎉❤❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤❤
Thank you very much
In other Box Oven video's they have said that you can adjust the Temp by the number of charcoal ( About 25 Deg. per piece of charcoal ) you add to the oven.
Great info, Thanks for the tip.
Does it work?
It has worked for us
Mines rubbed off
That makes it tough. Good luck
Thanks for your video, can you show how you attached your small panel for the battery to the tracker.
The small panel is a solar panel commonly used to charge an electric gate battery . It comes with its own charge controller already installed on the wiring. Just connect the red wire to the positive and the black wire to the negative terminals on the battery. Good luck
@@RustyGlovebox Hey man thanks for the response! Sorry if I was confusing, I meant how did you physically attach the small panel the other panels? Clips? Screws? Magnets? Haha. My setup didn’t leave me any extra C-channels at the ends.
@@aflipzkidn I was careful to mount it with some panel brackets I had on hand . Thanks and take care
Nice job!!
Thanks, have a great week
